Sinead O' Connor-Nothing Compares 2 U

The song "Nothing Compares 2 U" by Sinead O’ Connor is a song which was originally written and composed by Prince for a project he had called The Family. The song then became well established by the Irish recording artist called Sinead O’ Connor. She covered the song and then released it as the second single from her second studio album called ‘I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got. Until Sinead O' Connor recorded and produced the version with Nellee Hooper, it sprung and became a worldwide hit in 1990. 

I think this video is extremely effective for several reasons. One reason is the emotions shown by Sinead O' Connor. The tone of the song matches her action in the video. Although the camera shot is focused on her face, us as the audience can see the real emotion on her face especially when she start to cry.
