Sinead O' Connor-Nothing Compares 2 U
The song
"Nothing Compares 2 U" by Sinead O’ Connor is a song which was originally written and composed
by Prince for a project he had called The Family. The song then became well
established by the Irish recording artist called Sinead O’ Connor. She covered
the song and then released it as the second single from her second studio album
called ‘I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got. Until Sinead O' Connor recorded and
produced the version with Nellee Hooper, it sprung and became a worldwide hit
in 1990.
I think this video is extremely effective for several reasons. One reason is the emotions shown by Sinead O' Connor. The tone of the song matches her action in the video. Although the camera shot is focused on her face, us as the audience can see the real emotion on her face especially when she start to cry.

My Favourite Music Video
This is my favourite music video by Gfrsh called 'Harlem Shake' produced by GRM Daily. There are several reasons why this is my favourite music video due to the affect it has. One reason why it is my favourite music video is due to the affect of the music. The song is one of my favourite which means i have a stronger understanding of the song. Another reason why i like this music video is due to certain features which takes place within the video. For example when what he says in the song goes along with the action he does within the video. This takes place within the video when he say "Now I understand when they say money don't make you happy, because I'm pee'd off". Then he brings out the large amount of money. I liked the way they linked with each other, and it made sense.
Another thing I like about the music video is what actually takes place within the song. The song is called 'Harlem Shake' and with the well known Harlem Shake, a funny dance is also suppose to take place. Within the video, they do the funny Harlem Shake dance at the end of the video which shows the song goes with the video.
Another thing i like about the video is hows G Frsh himself uses his hand in order to change the scene of the video. When he puts his hand in front of the screen, the location changes which makes the video more entertaining.
The few things that could have made this video better was if G Frsh could have done more things in the video rather than using his hands in certain parts of the video. For example, objects which could have gone along with the song. ("Pushing them peddles with my shoes off". He could have actually done that himself in the video"
The Brief
For this coursework, I would be producing a music 'promo' video which has to be up to 5 minutes long. This would consists of me either working on my own or in a group up to four members. Also, I would also need to produce a digipak with six panels for its release on CD. This would also need a Magazine advertisment for the digipak. In addition to the 'promo' video', I would also need to produce a critical evaluation after creating it.
